Thankfully we were blessed that my sister-in-law Malissa had a cradle that she had used for her babies that she was willing to share with us. My parents sent it out here via UPS and I waited around the house all day until it came. I immediately unwrapped it, but I promised Ian that I would wait to put it together until he came home from work.

Cradle
As Ian and I have been trying to get ready to welcome our baby home, we needed to find a temporary place for him to sleep. Ian's Dad is making the baby's crib (which is only the coolest thing ever), but he isn't able to bring it up until Thanksgiving. Hence the need for a temporary sleeping place.

As soon as he got home he started right to work on putting it together. What a great Dad, huh? It was an interesting experience for both of us to try and put it together without any instructions. I'm pretty sure Ian said about 10 times that he felt like an archeologist. Check the pictures out for yourself. A regular Indiana Jones, huh?
It sure was fun putting it together and it'll be even more fun when we're able to bring the baby home to sleep in it. Thanks to Malissa for helping us out, Mom and Dad Baron for shipping it, and for the tools to be able to put it together, and Mom and Dad Sorensen for the brand new, one of a kind crib that you're working on.

COOL!!! I wish we had an awesome cradle like that! Can I come see the crib when your father-in-law brings it up?
